JULY 24: BROOKFIELD
The Cycle Brookfield Criterium is back in 2024!
This course will be flat and fast with two less-than 90 degree turns and a long sprint finish!
A few quick highlights:
- More than a dozen Brookfield businesses will be out on the course divided between two Expo Centers. First at Turn 1, food trucks and vendors will welcome spectators at less than 90 Degree Fast turn. Next, vendors from all over Chicagoland will be on-hand at the second Expo Center conveniently located off Turn 5 in the Linda Sokol Francis Public Library parking lot. Visit both Expos to see the best of Brookfield’s food and entertainment.
- Within sight of the Start/Finish line, enjoy dining and entertainment through the Downtown Brookfield corridor on Grand Blvd.
- After Turn 1, enjoy the Prairie Ave Shopping corridor with many unique stores like Fill My Jar candy, Warm Wick candles, Worthy Nutrition smoothies, and more!
- At 6:15pm, Gears2You will be sponsoring a family fun ride before the men’s pro race. Come out with the family and ride the same course as the pros. Register here.
- Dedicated racer parking can be located conveniently around the course.
- Spectators are encouraged to walk, ride their bike or take the Metra which is conveniently located steps off race course.
