JULY 18: WEST DUNDEE
The ‘Leg Breaker’ finish of the West Dundee River Challenge returns for the eighth year!
Incorporated in 1887, the Village of West Dundee is a small river town nestled in the suburbs of Chicago along the Fox River. The downtown is home to unique eateries and shops and the nearby Fox River Bike Trail. The course makes a 0.9 mile loop through the historic Old Town North neighborhood, passing historic houses, racing alongside the Fox River and finally charging up the famous Leg Breaker Hill.
TEAM MACK Masters 50/60+ miniseries
West Dundee marks the first day of The Meteor Masters 50/60+ miniseries! We’re grateful to The Meteor for making this series possible. Whether you use this series as a tune up for nationals, or are planning on racing the entire Chicago Grit series, this miniseries is a can’t miss on the race schedule for 2025!
Yard Hosts – a party on the course!
We launched Yard Hosting in 2023 and it was a smashing success!
We are still working on securing yard hosts for 2025, but hope to be able to offer this to riders again. Stay tuned!
